Hi, Laura! I didn’t even know there was an Alpro almond milk variety. I often buy soy milk, but I’ve never seen it on the shelves – or at least I haven’t noticed it. I’m going to look for it next time I’m at the supermarket, just out of curiosity.

trendingrecipes yeah sainsburys (big ones) do it. Morrisons don’t and I’m not sure about the rest. Hope you find some to try!

Great video! Hubby and I are making a commitment to get off sugar and have started buying organic unsweetened soya and unsweetened almond milk (we’re vegetarian and don’t drink cows milk) as the brands we were buying before had sweetener in them! How could we have been so blind for so long?! We started having almond milk with cereals about two years ago when I read that having soya milk in everything (tea, coffee, cereals, smoothies, baking) possibly wasn’t healthy because of the impact on hormones, particularly for men. It’s a nice balance and variety for us. I used to enjoy hazelnut milk too but…whaddya know…sugar!! Aargh. Pantry clean out today :)

Philippa I know the soy and almond milk is a little one that many people stumble on. I haven’t tried hazelnut yet but I would need to hunt down a sugar free one which may be difficult. I’ve been drinking unsweetened almond milk a lot more recently which is why this video came to mind. Good luck with your sugar plight! :)
